The
main hull is in one peice and is extremely strong, rigid and self supporting.
It is bolted to the chassis on rubber to ensure quietness and freedom
from vibration. Reinforced plastic is non-ferrous and therefore the
entire body is entirely RUST PROOF
THE BONNET
hinges forward for unusually good accessibility to the engine, front
suspension, brakes and steering and can be completely removed for major
work on the engine and gearbox. Two large, fully opening doors give
excellent access to the front and rear seats. Very large lined door
pockets provide ample stowage space for normal cruising. Toughtened
glass sliding side windows in conjunction with opening quarter lights
give excellent visibility and ventillation control. The windscreen is
made of laminated glass and is shatte-proof. The large and easily accessible
boot is ideal for holiday lugguage. All interior fittings are notable
for their high quality and practical use and among the most important
are three ashtrays with retracting covers, two flexible and padded sun
visors, heavy duty windscreen washers, anti dazzle rear view mirror.
Comfort is well assured with deep pile carpeting, superb seating, fullacoustic
insulation, large heater and demister unit, comprehensive instrumentation
and easily reached controls. The floor mounted handbrake and gear lever
fall readily to hand.
